Foliq is built on honesty — and that has to include how we treat your data. Here's exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do. No 40-page legalese.
Foliq gives you an educational AI read of your hair using photos you provide. It estimates a Norwood stage and offers general information so you can make better decisions.
Foliq is not a doctor and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our read is informational only. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment. Individual results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed.
Your photos are sent securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to produce your read, and to our server to return the result. We never publish, sell, or share your photos, and we don't use them to advertise. Your before/after images for personal tracking are stored on your own device (in your browser), not on our servers.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Photos are processed to create your read and are not retained on our servers afterward. If you provide your email, we keep it to send your plan and follow-ups until you ask us to delete it. Your on-device tracking history stays on your device and is cleared if you clear your browser data.
Foliq is intended for adults (18+). It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
By using Foliq you agree that the read is educational, not medical advice; that you're responsible for decisions you make about your health; and that Foliq, its operators, and its partners aren't liable for outcomes resulting from use of the information. We may update or improve the service over time.
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
